Qualities of a Good Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurship according to Wikipedia, is the act of being an entrepreneur, which is defined as "one who undertakes innovations, finance and business acumen in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods".

In this post, we'll be exploring some of the qualities that an entrepreneur must possess:

1. Must be a good time manager.
2. A self starter: able to conceptualize idea and put it into action; not waiting for someone to tell you what to do. It then means that you're a good worker.
3. Must be a good net worker.
4. Able to exercise patience: you're able to see your venture through the challenges
5. A risk taker: (calculated risks).
6. Must be able to create a good team/workforce.
7. Must be a good team player: cooperative; you're able to share your vision with your workforce to will get them energized to move with you

I caught part of Dr. Wale Akinyemi's interview on K24 and here are some insights I got.
Fear and failure Successful people failed at some point but that did not deter them from achieving what they wanted. Abraham Lincoln tried and failed many times before becoming the president of United States. Fear will give you more attention to what can go wrong than what can go right. Fear is a choice and so is failure. What we do with it is learn. Ask yourself, what is it that made you fail. You must take responsibility for it. You must then put structures in place to make sure it won't happen again.
Growth Growth is a must. When you stop growing you start dying. For instance, ask yourself, how many new books have I read in the past one year? You cannot put zero input and expect some output.
Vision When there is no vision, everything is permissible. On the contrary, your life must be anchored through discipline. We also must surround ourselves with things that po…
